HUIDEKOPER RANCH

Huidekoper Ranch in Wilson, Wyoming, is a small-scale, bio-intensive farm operating on a 140-acre property just west of Wilson. Originally established by Virginia Huidekoper, a pioneering journalist, skier, conservationist, and community leader, the ranch has evolved into a vital source of locally grown, organic produce for Jackson Hole. Since 2015, the current stewards—Claire Fuller, her husband Brent Tyc, and brother Nate Fuller—have continued her legacy by running a "Market Garden" using no-till, permanent raised beds and certified organic compost. They grow cold-hardy crops like baby greens, radishes, beets, carrots, and root vegetables, with hoophouses enabling year-round production, including tomatoes, squash, and microgreens.
